Ask your parliamentary candidates to support the Veterans Pledge

This election, we’re asking every party to commit to supporting veterans and to sign the Veterans Pledge.

None of the party manifesto’s have yet gone far enough. Can you help build support for the Veterans Pledge by sending your local candidates a message?

Politicians in your constituency are working hard for your vote – now is the time to ask them to show support for the Veterans Pledge and ask their party leaders to sign.

We’ve made it easy to send a message – just fill in your details to get started.

THE PARTY LEADERS' VETERANS PLEDGE, 2024

I pledge to support veterans and their families and to end the ongoing injustices they face. As part of my commitment to veterans I pledge to:

  1. Keep the Office for Veterans’ Affairs, led by a cabinet attending minister, giving veterans a voice at the heart of government.

  2. Commission an independent review of the medical discharge process, to kickstart the reform needed so that all veterans leaving service due to injury or illness get the support they need.

  3. Remove unfair barriers to receiving benefits and compensation so that every veteran gets the financial support they need and deserve.

These three pledges would lead to life changing improvements for veterans.

By sending a message today, you can make it clear that voters care about veterans, and that you want whoever becomes your local MP after the election to commit to supporting veterans.

Send a message to your local candidates and ask them to support the Veterans Pledge today!

Update: Rishi Sunak has now signed the Veterans Pledge. There's not much time left for other other parties to match this commitment to veterans before the election - join the call.
